Provideprofessional Human Resources knowledge, skill, and service to individuals atall levels of the company to analyze human resource needs and develop/implementeffective solutions. Provide HR support in the area of solutions formanagers and employees in the interpretation of policy, effective performancemanagement, and guidance on building highly engaged teams. This roleaddresses company policy questions, and train managers in HR policies andprocedures.


  • Day-to-day quarterback to execute onescalated employee issues, generalist will provide guidance, explaincomplexities in global environments
  • Assisting middle managers and employeeswith development counseling
  • Through hands on support with employeesand managers identifies trends within business and employee base on areas ofimprovement
  • Manages policy and practice tools anddocuments related to employee policies and procedures
  • Manages updates and reviews of EmployeeHandbook and ensures all information is up to date and pertinent
  • Aids Centers of Excellence regarding HRcompliance to ensure all functions and appropriate parties are reviewingpolicies, legislation, etc.
  • Manages Investigations; performs initialintake, consults with Talent Partners where escalation and recommendations leadto a performance action
  • Provide management training on HRpolicies and procedures in a group or individual setting
  • Continually enhance knowledge of stateand federal regulations and current trends/practices pertaining to HumanResources
  • Provide expertise and ensure company practices comply withregulations
  • Attend training and educational courses to enhance knowledgeof all HR areas


  • Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Human Resources, Communications or Social Sciences, or related field
  • 5-8 years demonstrated HumanResources experience as a generalist or specialist
  • Strong employee relations andorganizational development experience
  • Possess an advanced level ofknowledge related to OFLA/FMLA and legal employment practices and Federal/Statelaborlaws
  • Well-developed Business Acumen
  • Be creative in recommendingsolutions to HR issues
  • Use diplomacy and skill in handlingsituations that are sensitive in nature
  • Communicate effectively, orally andin writing, in one-on-one situations and in small and large group presentations
  • Facilitate group and team meetings
  • Ability to operate independentlyand with discretion, and work effectively under pressure
